Another year ends,
With memories umpteen,
Welcoming 2018.
An year when he found paradise,
Responding to his all-time calling,
Coming closer to life.
An year which ended things,
Making way for beautiful new beginnings.
When he lifted his pen back,
And gave it life.
An year that taught him great lessons,
Making him stronger and resolved,
In hope of another great one,
With open hands, he welcomes 2018.

Weary eyes, passionate heart,
In the midst of dreams,
Balancing life,
Lit as a spark.
Zoning out, coming back.
Often lost, finding self.
Old school, new music,
Young at heart.
Appears insipid,
He is camouflaged.
An ambivert,
Sheer delight.
Doesn’t fit,
Not usual.
Free as an eagle,
And diamond strong.

घनघोर काली रात को चीरते हुए,
सुबह का पहला आभास,
और वो चल पड़ता |
सपनों के बीच मंडराते हुए,
उसका चेहरा चमकता हुआ,
आँखों में नींद छलकती सी,
दोगुना उत्साह लिए,
और वो चल पड़ता |
ज़िन्दगी को महसूस करता हुआ,
हर एक पल को जीता,
कभी दौड़ता, कभी रुकता,
ना सुनता, ना सुनाता,
बस कहता चलता |
काँटों को फूल बना,
ज़िन्दगी में मदहोश,
वो खुशियां बांटता चलता |
फिर श्याम ढलती,
और रात का बेसब्र इंतज़ार,
इकरार में बदलता |
कलम में सपने पिरोए,
वो फिर चल पड़ता |
